We are a friendly, informal group who simply like to paint or draw and have a chat.
All abilities and ages are very welcome. Please bring your own paper, canvas, paints and pencils or whatever you would like to use.
We operate during autumn, winter and early spring. We do not operate during late spring and summer. Please check the bookings calendar or contact us to check dates.
We are a non profit making informal group, so costs are very low.
We simply divide the cost of hiring the hall between group members.
As we currently have 8 active members this works out at less than £3 per week per person, usually collected as £20 every 7 or 8 weeks during the period when we operate.
We could easily accomodate 3 or 4 more members and this would lower the cost per person as we simply need to cover hall hire charges for the weeks when we are there.
We do not have an official teacher, but if required you can always find friendly help and advice from other members.
We usually have a cup of coffee or tea, often with a biscuit or two. Some members take turns to bring these from home, but there is no obligation for anyone to do so.
